A little more about me

I’m a second gen Taiwanese Texafornian: Okay, I admit that’s a long-winded way of saying that my parents packed their bags from Taiwan to Texas. And then I packed my bags for California.

I’m a writer: My debut picture book WHAT IN THE WORLD IS EZRA’S ART from Third State Books launches May 2023! I write family-friendly comedic adventure stories featuring Asian American protagonists that want to change their world.

I’m an active SCBWI member, graduate of Children's Book Academy, two-time finalist for the We Need Diverse Books mentorship, PBChat mentee and #Startwith8 mentee for screenwriting.

I’m a marketer: I have previously worked at PR and digital agencies, a social TV startup, and companies such as Microsoft, Roche, Google, and AbbVie.

I have a breadth of experience in multiple disciplines: public relations, social media strategy, content development, end-to-end marketing campaign management, copywriting, and marketing analytics. My expertise is crafting messages that resonate to audiences and identifying the right marketing channel mix.

I’m an illustrator: I’ve honed my stick figure craft for more than 20 years.
